• an infusion, and injected in the form of sodium phosphate: 0.75-9 mg per day in divided doses every 6-12 hours.
• Injected in the form of acetate: mg 8-16, 1-3 can be repeated every week.
• Injected in the form of acetate: 0,8-1,6 mg.
• Injected into joints or soft tissue in the form of acetate: mg 4-16, 1-3 can be repeated every week.
How Dose Dexamethasone for children?

• Initial Dose: 1-2 mg/kg once per oral, injection or infusion.
• Maintenance Dose: 1-1.5 mg/kg/day, given in divided doses every 4-6 hours for 5 days and then slowly lowered my dose for 5 days, then discontinued.

Side Effects
What are the side effects that may occur due to Dexamethasone?
Some side effects that may occur from the use of this medication include:
• Sleep problems (insomnia)
• Mood swings
• Acne, dry skin, thinning of the skin, bruising or discoloration of the skin
• The slow healing of wounds

• Nausea, upset stomach, bloating
• Muscle weakness or
